Hazrat Nizamuddin once saw an old lady drawing water from a well. He asked her as to why she preferred the water from the well to the sweet water of the River Yamuna. The lady said, "I have an old husband. We have no money and nothing to eat. Yamuna's water is so pleasing to the senses that it induces hunger. Since it would excite our appetite, I do not have water from the river."
